ANNA M. LOTZE, WIFE, age 44, married at 29 years of age, born in New York State, Father born in Germany, Mother born in New York State.
RAMONA E. LOTZE, DAUGHTER, age 13, single, born in New York State, both parents born in New York State.
HELEN F. LOTZE, DAUGHTER, age 12, single, born in New York State, both parents born in New York State.
JOHN C. LOTZE, SON, age 6, single, born in New York State, both parents born in New York State.

Carl Lotze died Feb. 19, 1953 . His wife Anna Merkel Lotze died April 19, 1976. Survived by three daughters: Mrs. Theodore (Ramona) DePoint of Irondequoit, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Baker of Webster, and Mrs. Thomas Norman (Barbara) of Saranac Lake, N.Y. One son John C. (Phyllis) of Penfield. Burial was at Webster Rural Cemetery Six grandchildren by Anna's death. Anna also left her brother, Edwin Merkel. Mass was at Holy Trinity Church, Webster. Smith and Lotze Funeral Home of Webster. Carl Lotze also had a furniture store in Webster as well as being a co-owner of the funeral home.

Carl Henry's parents were Henry J. Lotze of West Walworth, NY in Wayne County and Etta C. Hazen born in Lyons, NY, another Wayne County town.

In Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, of Rochester, NY. Section 3 South, lot 47, there are 3 small stones in a row with just names and years: Jacob. Eliz. & Lillian. The stones are identical and of a rather unusual design. Directly behind Lillian's in the next row was another of the same design, Marian Lotze 1920 1921. Marian Lotze is the daughter of Anna Mary Merkel & Carl Henry Lotze.
