There is actually a connection between my maternal family and the family of Richard Merkel and Constantine Roth. Richard and Constantine had a daughter Clara. She married Henry Schleuter. Now you have to follow the Schleuter to the Repp to the Meisenzahl to the Streb to the Wambach to the Costich and finally to my Maternal Merkel family. That's a long stretch but since there is this connection, Richard and Constantine are now officially in the data base.
